THE NASS WILL BE CONTACTING PRODUCERS AGAIN SOON

(SPRINGFIELD) As the 2024 crop production season is soon to start, the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service will soon be contacting farmers nationwide to determine their plans for the upcoming growing season. Approximately 2,900 farmers in Illinois will be contacted to provide information about the types of crops they intent to plant in 2024, how many acres they plan to plant, and the amounts of grain they store on their farms. Producers can respond online at agcounts.usda.gov or by mail. Results released by April.
