(OLNEY) The next Queen of Hearts drawing at the Olney VFW is this Sunday afternoon at 4:00, with tickets on sale up until 3:55, and all open to the public. This week’s jackpot will be over $9,000 to the winner, if present. All are invited out this Sunday to the Olney VFW.
(CLAY CITY) A fundraising benefit to support Rick “Tanky” Martin of rural Clay City is this coming Saturday evening at the Clay City Firehouse. The meal will be served starting at 4:00, including pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, and dessert, all by donation only. Then an auction will begin at around 6:00. The Clay City Fire Department invites everyone to stop by and help out their long-time fellow volunteer fireman with his medical expenses.
(PARKERSBURG) A Richland County fundraiser is set for this Saturday evening at the Community Building in Parkersburg, with a benefit dinner to be served from 4:00 to 8:00, plus a silent auction and more. Tickets on sale at the door and all are encouraged to stop by and help out. All proceeds will help Jeff Hunley with expenses in his fight against cancer.

(OLNEY) The Olney Center Shriners will host their 2nd annual Father’s Day 5K Run/Walk this Saturday morning in Olney. Beginning and ending at the Richland County High School Veterans Hall, it’s late and pre-registration at 7:00, with the 5K Run/Walk set to start at 8:00, with awards to follow. All to benefit local Shriners, helping kids one step at a time.
