(OLNEY) It’s a busy weekend at the Olney VFW, despite the road work around the Post :
- This Sunday is the VFW Post member’s dinner at 12:00 noon. Then it’s another Queen of Hearts drawing later in the afternoon at 4:00, which is still open to the public, with tickets on sale up until 3:55. The Olney VFW will then close at 5:00 for the Post Christmas Party
- On Saturday morning, the Post will host “Breakfast with Santa” as all area children are invited to drop by between 8:00 and 10:30. There will be pictures with Santa, a gift basket raffle, face painting, a cake walk, plenty of door prizes, and more for all children
- And it’s a busy Friday night during the Moonlight Madness event in downtown Olney. The VFW will be transformed into a cozy place for relaxation after all the shopping. Folks are invited to stop by and warmup at the VFW fireplace, plus a visit by Santa is possible.
