(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the area of low pressure moved through Illinois by early this morning, our downstate area rainfall totals averaged between one and two inches in the past 36 hours. Now a high pressure ridge moves into the Midwest, giving us cool, clear, and dry conditions for today, tomorrow, and Friday to wrap up the work week. Another weather system is expected to move across the state with more rain expected by Saturday afternoon continuing through Sunday. It appears that the Veterans Day forecast will be sunny and pleasant. Monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
