(OLNEY) in Junior High Cross Country yesterday –
Olney St. Joe competed at the Fairfield Invitational with several teams taking part
the Lady Wildcats won the girls varsity event, beating Salem, 44 to 55
NCOE was third at 60, followed by Mt. Carmel at 71 and Carmi at 106
St. Joe was led by Mabel Stout in 4th place and Brilyn Brinkley in 5th place
Breeann Ochs was 8th and Belle Graves was 11th
the Wildcats finished second to NCOE in the boys varsity race, 43 to 35
Carmi was third at 81, followed by Mt. Carmel at 101, Salem at 114, and Cisne at 140
St. Joe was led by Ezra Dicks in 1st place and Archer Laughlin in 7th place
Beau Stevens was 9th and Byron Cowman was 10th
St. Joe is scheduled to run next Monday at OCC in the Olney Invitational
