(SPRINGFIELD) The UDSA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service will next month conduct its semi-annual Agricultural Labor Survey with more than 500 Illinois farmers to take part in the survey online, at agcounts.usda.gov, or by mail. The important survey allows producers to provide information about hired farm labor, including the number of workers, their hours worked, and total wages paid for two specific weeks, one in July and the other in October. All information remains confidential. Those who do not respond by mid-October, may be contacted by NASS staff. The data will be published in November.
