U.S. REPRESENTATIVE MIKE BOST TO MAKE LOCAL STOPS ON AG TOUR

(MURPHYSBORO) U.S. Representative Mike Bost of Murphysboro has announced a five stop agricultural tour across downstate Illinois to discuss with constituents the Farm Bill, agricultural trade, renewable energy, and other hot topics. The first two stops are a week from tomorrow, on Wednesday, August 7th, including a Solar Sit Down in Nashville from 1:00 to 2:00 and a Trade Talk in Evansville from 3:00 to 4:00. Then next Thursday, August 8th, it’s a Barnyard Roundup a mile northwest of Cisne from 12:00 to 1:00 and a Renewable Fuels Roundtable at the Lincolnland Agri-Energy facility at the west edge of Palestine from 3:00 to 4:00. The final stop for our 12th District Congressman will be next Friday morning, August 9th, from 10:30 to 11:30, at the Illinois State Fair during Ag Day. While RSVP’s are required for the Wayne County stop, no RSVP’s are needed for the Crawford County visit.
