TUESDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (03/26/2024)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a half inch to one inch of rain falling on average last night, and with a chance of some lingering light rain this morning, we’ll dry out this afternoon with a strong south wind gusting up to 40 to 45 miles-per-hour, much like yesterday. Then a cold front moves through with cooler air for tonight through tomorrow and tomorrow night. A high pressure ridge will give us a warming trend and plenty of sunshine on Thursday and Friday, leading into a nice and pleasant Saturday. However, our next chance of rain moves in for Easter Sunday afternoon and continues into the first part of next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather forecast details.
