TUESDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (02/11/2025)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) With the first of three weather systems moving through Illinois this morning, our light snow will eventually come to an end this morning, then we’ll dry out until the next system moves by daybreak tomorrow morning. Our downstate area can expect freezing rain and/or sleet by early Wednesday morning, then changing over to light snow and maybe some rain by later in the day. After a mix of snow and rain that night, we’ll stay dry on Thursday and Friday with more rain chances Saturday, maybe changing over to snow Sunday, plus colder air will follow into the first of next week. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
