(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a mostly cloudy sky expected today, an approaching cold front will give Illinois a few rounds of rain and possible thunderstorms over the next 24 to 36 hours. With rain this morning, there will be more chances of rain and storms later this afternoon and later tonight for our downstate area, with some severe weather possible. Then after the rain clears out tomorrow, we’ll have dry and mild conditions for Saturday and Sunday, plus into the first of next week.
