(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a warm front lifts northeastward across Illinois today, and after some scattered showers and possible thunderstorms this morning, we’ll dry out later this afternoon with some sunshine in the forecast. Then another round of rain & thunderstorm chances move across our downstate area on Friday before ending that night. And after a dry Saturday, we’ll have another round of rain chances on Sunday and spotty chances of rain on Memorial Day. Then a little cooler air returns for the first of next week.
