(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a warm front lifts northeastward across our downstate area by later today, we’ll have spotty rain showers today through tonight, with a marginal risk for a few strong to severe thunderstorms maybe later this evening and through the overnight hours. Then we dry out and warm up tomorrow, all to be followed by more rain chances Saturday afternoon into Sunday, as a cold front sweeps across Illinois, giving us another chance of severe weather conditions Sunday afternoon. Then we’re cooler the first of next week with yet more rain chances by next Wednesday. Stay tuned and listen for weather updates.
