(NEWTON/OLNEY) State Representatives Blaine Wilhour and Adam Niemerg are teaming up with the Illinois Optometric Association to distribute free safety sunglasses to the residents of the 110th and 102nd legislative districts in order to observe the upcoming total eclipse of the sun on Monday, April 8th. It’s one pair per person, while supplies last, at each of the lawmaker’s local district offices, or on their respective websites, at RepWilhour.com or RepNiemerg.com. For those in the 102nd District (Jasper, Crawford, Lawrence, Clark, Cumberland, Edgar, Coles, part of Effingham), stop by Niemerg’s office in Teutopolis or call it at 217-813-6036. Or the solar eclipse glasses will be available during Niemerg’s satellite office hour visits next Thursday, April 4th, in Newton, Robinson, & Lawrenceville.
