(OLNEY) The Richland County School Board of Education met in special session last night in Olney. The Board : agreed to expel a student for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year and the entire 2024-2025 school year – the student will be referred to an alternative school and may return to the Richland County School District for the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year under Principal’s Probation if the student completes 20 hours of approve counseling and follows all school rules while attending alternative school. The next regular monthly meeting for the Richland County School Board will be March 21st.
