(OLNEY) ROBERT TREECE PAINTS NEW OAC MURAL
The Olney Arts Council invites the community to the unveiling of a new mural by artist Robert Treece commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The event will be held Sunday, June 28, from 3–5 p.m. at 412 E. Main St. in Olney.
The celebration will feature live music, refreshments, remarks from Mark Lambird, and access to the Carnegie Library, including its World War II exhibit.
The mural project was supported by the Illinois Arts Council, with additional support recognized from Neil Anderson Plummer, Adam Niemerg, and state leaders.
The mural highlights the Olney Arts Council’s commitment to public art and community engagement.
