- Despite outhitting the visitors 11 to 5, Newton couldn’t pull off the win.

The Lady Eagles are now (21-2 overall / 6-1 LIC) and are scheduled to play at Shelbyville today.
Olney Softball Rained Out
OLNEY – The Lady Tigers’ road game at Paris was rained out and has been rescheduled for Thursday.
- Olney stands at (9-8 overall) and is set to host Salem today at home.
