(SPRINGFIELD) Yesterday’s observance of National Agriculture Day was celebrated in many different ways throughout Illinois and the United States as organized events helped tell the story of agriculture and broaden its awareness. It’s specifically a time that all Americans need to understand the value of agriculture in their daily lives, whether it directly affects them or not. Today, there are 3.75 million Americans employed in some type of agriculture.
