(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board had a regular bi-monthly meeting this past Monday night. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : heard from the Greater Wabash Planning Commission noting the Village of Noble is one of the recipients listed to get a state Community Development Block Grant – the Village will use the $829,000 funds for Sewer Lagoon work and needed repairs : discussed, but no action on the drainage issue in the Noble Cemetery : noted a drainage problem on East Cherry Street with the Village Engineer to look at it and provide a recommendation : noted that nuisance property letters will be mailed out for yards that need mowed and maintained in the Village : agreed to sell the Village’s former non-working siren for $200 : agreed to purchase replacement tires for the Village’s two mowers from Kuhl’s Trailer Sales for $316 : discussed, but no action on a donation request from the Richland County Development Corporation : noted the Village mosquito spraying is being done on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week : and noted that the last day to accept applications for the Village Treasurer’s position is this coming Friday, June 14th : the next regular meeting for the Noble Village Board is set for June 24th, 2024.
