Authorities in White County are continuing their investigation into the death of a Carmi man following a fire in the Calvin area on Monday.
- Firefighters and emergency personnel responded to the scene after reports of a fire near an oilfield pumping unit where a fatality was suspected.
- After the fire was contained, responders discovered the body of Donald Sims, an employee of Cantrell Oil Company.
- Autopsy results are pending, and White County authorities have not yet released additional details.
