IN PERSON ANHYDROUS AMMONIA TRAINING FOR PRODUCERS AND OPERATORS

(EFFINGHAM) The Illinois Farm Bureau, along with the Illinois Department of Agriculture and the Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association, is sponsoring an upcoming in-person training for producers, farm operators, and others who transport or apply anhydrous ammonia. The Certified Grower Training will be offered in Effingham on Wednesday, February 26th, starting at 1:00, at the Effingham Events Center. While registration for the in-person training is required, those wanting to attend can sign up on the Farm Bureau website, at ilfb.org/NH3. Illinois growers and farm operators who maintain anhydrous ammonia equipment are required by the state to complete the CG training every 3 years.
