(CHICAGO) In Boys High School Tennis yesterday –
The Class 1A State Tournament began up in the Chicagoland, here’s the results involving our local Olney and Newton players.
SINGLES
- Olney’s Aidan Weidner lost his first round match
The RCHS junior then won his first consolation round match, but then was eliminated from the tournament with his second lost.
- Newton’s Isaac Street won his first match, but lost his second, then won again
The NCHS junior is slated to return today for action
DOUBLES
- Olney’s Marcus Kocher & Carter Seaman won their first round match
The RCHS junior and freshman lost their next match, then won in consolation round action, but were eliminated in a third round consolation round match.
The Class 1A State Tennis Tournament continues today and ends tomorrow.
