(BLOOMINGTON) The annual Illinois High School Shrine Game is this coming Saturday at Tucci Stadium on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, with the pregame activities to start at 10:00 and kickoff at 11:00. The event will feature 91 players chosen from throughout the state with 46 players on the Red All-Star Team and 45 players on the Blue All-Star Team. There are three players from the Little Illini Conference that have been invited to play, including Newton’s Payton Harris, Casey-Westfield’s Connor Sullivan, and Robinson’s Julian Parker. The schedule of events actually begin with the statewide players checking in this morning followed by team practices later today, then tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday.
