(BLOOMINGTON) The second year of the Illinois Ag Retail Survey is underway now thru April to determine producer practices geared toward reducing nutrient loss as part of the state’s currently voluntery Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy (NLRS). The survey measures use of tillage and cover crops and tracked nitrogen and phosphorous fertilizer use and application methods throughout the state. Results will be published later this summer.
