(OLNEY/NEWTON) The Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting in August this past Tuesday night in Olney. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : accepted the District’s Program Review Report for Fiscal Year 2024 to be submitted to the Illinois Community College Board : approved a Dual Credit Partnership Agreement with Mission III Academy in Albion : agreed to continue the process to construct an Applied Technology Center at Olney Central College : approved revisions to four policies dealing with ethics for employees, holiday/leave/benefits for non-bargaining unit employees, tuition waivers, and the prevailing wage law : approved pay increases for Full-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Employees : & in personnel moves – accepted resignations from LTC Program Advisor for Allied Health Kyrah Buchanan, from LTC Music Instructor John McCarty, from LTC Director of Enrollment Management Andrea Loll, from District Information Systems Technician Ken Pryor, and from District Program Director of Emergency Preparedness Brent Maguire – approved the change in employment for Annie Matthews from OCC Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Instruction to TRIO Student Support Services Academic Advisor at OCC – and agreed to hire Abigail Holdrieth as LTC English/Speech Instructor, Bart Nation as WVC TRIO Upward Bound Academic Counselor, Colin Walls as LTC Custodian, and Caleb Kamplain as LTC TRIO Student Support Services Counselor : the IECC Board of Trustees will have their next regular meeting September 17th.
