(SPRINGFIELD) In High School Bass Fishing earlier this month –
The two-day ICASSTT Clash Championship was held on Lake Springfield, with 72 boats and 144 anglers from throughout the state taking part, the anglers had to qualify for the end-of-year tournament over the past by collecting enough points from 15-plus events held since last August.
- The Argenta-Orena team of Chase & Carter Logue were first with a catch of 28 lbs 13 oz
- The Teutopolis pair of Austin Bloemer & Garrett Gaddis were a close 2nd at 28 lbs 5 oz
- Teammates Ethan & Brody Thoele of Teutopolis finished 5th with a catch of 24 lbs 12 oz
- The Newton boat of Ian Fehrenbacher and Lain Burgener were 8th at 22 lbs 14 oz
- In 11th place was Ross Deters & Dawson Hoene of Teutopolis with a catch of 21 lbs 6 oz
- The Flora duo of Tyler & Lucas Conrad finished in 18th place at 18 lbs 13 oz
- The Olney boat with Drake Koester & Jakoby VanDyke were 33rd at 16 lbs 6 oz
- Also from RCHS in Olney, Alex Harness & Dylan Fulk were 44th at 13 lbs 12 oz
- The Newton boat of Turner Tarr & Beau Bennett finished 58th at 9 lbs 12 oz
