Olney won a slugfest on the road at Teutopolis
- The Lady Tigers beat the Lady Wooden Shoes, 14-13
Although Teutopolis outhit Olney, 16 to 12
- The winning pitcher was Taylor Bloomer, striking out 3 in 7 innings
- Rylee Bloomer led the Olney offense with a triple, 2 singles, and 1 RBI
- Kennedy Knox had a double, single, and 1 RBI
- Miranda Dowty had a three run home run
- Kaiya Seesseengood had 2 hits, 2 RBI, and scored 2 runs
The (3-2) Lady Tigers are scheduled to host Fairfield today at RCHS in Olney
(NEWTON) In High School Varsity Softball yesterday –
- Newton won at home, beating Oblong, 15-0 in four innings
The Lady Eagles outhit the visitors, 12 to 1
- the winning pitcher was Avery Mulvey, striking out 8 in the 4 inning game
- Allie Stanley led Newton at the plate with a triple, double, single, and 4 RBI
- Bailee Frichtl doubled and singled with 2 RBI
- Lilly Kessler double and singled with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored
- Sally Mahaffey also had 2 hits and 1 RBI
The (5-1) Lady Eagles are scheduled to play at Hutsonville this afternoon.
