(NEWTON/OLNEY) In High School Bass Fishing news –
Tt’s a busy weekend coming up for East Fork Lake and Newton Lake, with two ICASSTT State Tournaments for both Junior High and High School anglers.
HIGH SCHOOL ICASSTT
- State Series Event 12 is this Saturday from 7:00 to 2:00 on East Fork Lake
- State Series Event 13 is this Sunday from 7:00 to 2:00 on Newton Lake
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ICASSTT
- State Series 2nd to last spring event is this Saturday on Newton Lake
- State Series next to last spring event is this Sunday on East Fork Lake
All of the fishing events will host anglers from throughout the state, and especially those from our downstate area, the Illinois Coaches & Student State Tournament Trail (ICASSTT) began in 2020.
- The Fall Schedule for Season Four had 9 events last August through October
- The Spring Schedule for Season Four has had 4 events so far since March 23rd
- After this weekend, there will be 7 additional events running through May 19th
- It all leads up to the ICASSTT Clash Championship on Lake Springfield in June
