Olney won two of three games
- The Tigers on Friday beat Centralia, 5-0 by outhitting the visitors, 13 to 2
- Winning pitcher was Ian Winkler, striking out 11 in six and a third innings
- Derrick Steele led Olney at the plate with 3 hits, 2 RBI, and 1 run scored
- With 2 hits each were Jacob Beard, Colby Redman, and Ian Winkler
on Saturday, the Tigers split two games on the road at Herrin
- Olney beat the host Tigers, 6-5 as Olney outhit Herrin, 9 to 6
- Winning pitcher was Rolen Wilson, striking out 5 in two and two-thirds innings
- Cooper Hires, Jacob Beard, and Gavin Root
- Olney lost the other game to Bethalto Civic Memorial, 6-5 with the hit even at 11
- Top Tiger hitters were Derrick Steele, Colby Redman, and Rylan Hancock

Newton dropped two games
- On Friday Newton lost to Charleston, 6-3 as the Eagles were outhit, 9 to 6
- Payton Harris, Isaac Flowers, and Drake Wolf each had 2 hits apiece for Newton
- On Saturday, Newton lost at Pana, 8-4
The (6-5) Eagles are back at home tomorrow hosting Windsor/Stew-Stras.
