(OLNEY) In girls high school tennis action yesterday:
- Olney secured a 7-2 victory over Charleston, marking a strong return to winning form.
The Lady Tigers excelled in singles matches, winning four out of six:
- McKenna Snider won Match #1.
- Piper Berger took Match #2.
- Raley Inskeep secured Match #3.
- Ezha Biyok prevailed in Match #6.
Olney also dominated in doubles, winning all three matches:
- McKenna Snider & Claire Uhl won Match #1.
- Raley Inskeep & Karlee Bissey took Match #2.
- Audry Runyon & Brielle Sieler finished with a win in Match #3.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Wednesday, hosting Fairfield in Olney.
(NEWTON) In another girls high school tennis match yesterday:
- Newton narrowly edged out Effingham with a 5-4 win.
The Lady Eagles won four of the six singles matches:
- Jailyn Hall took Match #2.
- Olivia Sornberger won Match #3.
- Chloe Kroenlein secured Match #4.
- Jordyn Kocher finished with a win in Match #6.
Newton won one of the three doubles matches:
- Paige Klingler & Jailyn Hall triumphed in Match #1.
The Lady Eagles will quickly return to action today, hosting Fairfield at home.

- Paris defeated Danville Schlarman 9-0.
- Teutopolis won against Casey-Westfield 8-1.
- Flora secured a 9-0 victory over Greenville.
