The Newton Lady Eagles delivered a strong performance on the road, sweeping both games against Neoga:
VARSITY
- Newton won 79-47
- Karasyn Martin led with 20 points, while Camryn Martin contributed 18 points.
JUNIOR VARSITY
- Newton triumphed with a 52-22 victory.
The Lady Eagles will be back at home on Monday for Senior Night, where they will host Pana.
OLNEY GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL RESULTS
There were two conference matchups last night:
- Casey-Westfield defeated Lawrenceville 46-39
- Mt. Carmel beat Paris 67-53
The Olney Lady Tigers had the night off.
A rescheduled conference game will take place tonight:
- Robinson will host Lawrenceville.
In addition, four LIC teams will be in action tomorrow, all in non-conference play:
- Olney plays Edwards County at Albion
