(SPRINGFIELD) The EPA is inviting nominations for it’s Farm, Ranch, & Rural Communities Advisory Committee, which was created in 2008 to provide policy advice, information, and recommendations on a range of environmental issues and policies that are important to agriculture and rural areas. Among the topics that may be covered are climate change, water or air quality issues, pesticides, toxins, food loss & waste, enforcement & compliance, environmental justice, and emergency response. With the nomination deadline set for September 5th, eligibility criteria and nomination details are in the Federal Register post.
