(FLORA) A Clay County man has officially been arrested by the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8. Following the investigation into occurrences during the month of May 2021, three years ago, 26 year old Braxton E. Allen of Flora, has been formally charged with two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child, a Class X felony. Allen is now in custody at the Clay County Jail in Louisville with no bond. The ISP was assisted by the Flora Police Department, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, & IDCFS.
