(ROBINSON) In Boys High School Tennis Saturday –
There were eight teams at the Doubles Tournament at Robinson
- Teutopolis won by slipping by Effingham St. Anthony, 12 to 11
- Paris was third with 9.5 points, followed by the host Maroons with 8 points
- Effingham was fourth with 7.5 points, then the Olney Tigers at 2.5 points
- The Newton Eagles were seventh with 2 points and Casey-Westfield with no points
Playing with a limited team, here’s how the Olney Tigers did in the competition
FLIGHT #1
- Aidan Weidner and A.J. Padilla lost two matches (0-2)
FLIGHT #2
- Marcus Kocher and Lorenzo Fistarol lost then won their final two matches (1-2)
FLIGHT #3
- Carter Seaman and Yeougrye Ju lost then split their final two matches (1-2)
The Tennis Tigers now prepare for the LIC Conference Match this Friday at Paris.
