(NEWTON) The Newton-Jasper County Illinois Museum will celebrate its 65th anniversary this month with a special reception and ribbon cutting on Wednesday night, October 29th, from 5:00 to 7:00, at its new location in the original Romack Motors Building, at 200 East Washington Street, Suite A, in Newton. With exhibit tours to begin at 5:00, the official ribbon cutting at 6:00 will be followed by a 6:15 toast as community members are invited to join in to mark the exciting new chapter of the museum in Newton and Jasper County.
