(SPRINGFIELD) A little over a year since the Allies in Agriculture program was created, half of the counties in Illinois have passed pro-agriculture resolutions in collaboration with their local county Farm Bureaus. Built with a goal to build partnerships and to help local county government officials to better understand and support agriculture, the pro-ag resolutions between county Farm Bureaus and county boards help local elected officials see what agriculture does for the local economy, such as providing jobs, generating property tax revenue, and more.
