(OLNEY) The Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Board of Trustees had its regular monthly meeting for May earlier this week at Lincoln Trail College, northeast of Robinson. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : reviewed the recent Spring 2026 IECC Facilities & Technology Survey, which generated 288 responses on facilities and 284 responses on technology : waived a second reading and approved revisions for three District policies, including those on Guided Pathways, Term Honors, and Technology Remote Access : adopted the Trustee Onboarding & Orientation policy to add structure for newly elected or appointed Trustees : authorized the administration to implement a voluntary separation incentive program for eligible full-time non-bargaining unit employees as part of IECC’s ongoing organizational alignment and operational restructuring efforts : approved and accepted a districtwide intercollegiate athletics staffing model as part of the IECC’s ongoing Equity in Athletics initiative : and in personnel – approved retirement notices from Jackie Shamhart as Administrative Assistant to the President/Vice Chancellor of Institutional Outreach at LTC, from Joe Myers as District MIT Instructor, from Tracy Robinson as Coordinator of International Admissions & Compliance at WVC, and from Bobby Moyes as Information Systems Technician at WVC – accepted resignations from Terrance McGee as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at WVC, from Brock Plassman as TRIO Upward Bound Academic Counselor at WVC, from Quianna McGee as Coordinator of Marketing and Communications at WVC, and from Caleb Kamplain as TRIO Student Support Services Academic Advisor at LTC – approved employment status changes for Rachel Dollahan to Director of Learning Commons at LTC, for Heather Watts to Administrative Assistant to President/Vice Chancellor of Institutional Outreach & Dean at LTC, and for Jade Montgomery to Head Softball Coach and Enrollment Coordinator at WVC – and agreed to hire Will Bookhout as a Welding Instructor at OCC, Ben Morgan as Temporary Non-Bargaining Full-Time Automotive Instructor at OCC, Alecis Mecum as Custodian at OCC, Kaitlyn Lasswell at English Composition/Literature Instructor at WVC, Jessica Daugherty as Head Women’s Volleyball Coach & Enrollment Management Coordinator at LTC, and Douglas Green as Groundskeeper/Custodian at FCC – and approved a reduction in force for Food Service Manager Taylor Newlin at LTC : the next regular monthly meeting for the IECC Board of Trustees will be June 16th, 2026, at Olney Central College in Olney.
