(GLEN CARBON) The Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois (GSofSI) would like to congratulate the local Top Cookie Sellers from the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program for 2026 as Girl Scouts made door-to-door sales, hosted cookie booths, and even made online sales to friends and family near and far. Here’s a shout out to the two Top Cookie Sellers in their respective areas :
- Joanne Daugherty of the Crawford/Jasper County Service Unit with 707 packages sold
- Scarlet Thompson of the Richland County Service Unit with 460 packages sold
To these two girls and all others in our downstate region to participated in this year’s Girl Scout Cookie Sales which ended just over a month ago. The Girls Scouts of Southern Illinois serves over 6,300 girls and engages nearly 3,600 adults in the 40 southern-most counties in Illinois, including Jasper, Richland, and others.
