(OLNEY/NEWTON) With an expansive high pressure sitting out to our west and a tight surface pressure gradient over the Upper Midwest, our current cold weather conditions will hang around for one more day. Then as that high pressure moves over Illinois, we’ll have a quick warm-up tomorrow with a strong south wind, but a cold front will settle over our downstate area with our next chance of rain moving in Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Then some warmer air in place Friday and Saturday before more rain chances on Sunday. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
