(OLNEY/NEWTON) While there were some isolated storm chances over the weekend and very few areas had some spotty rainfall, most all of our downstate area remained dry and hot. And that will not change much today or most all of this third full week of September as an upper level high pressure ridge hangs in place. Slight rain chances return to the forecast this coming weekend, however none of the different rounds of rain chances will be drought busting. Stay tuned for updates & monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for forecast details.
