REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) It’s one more day of high heat and humidity in store for our downstate area with a Heat Advisory in place for all of our listening and coverage area on this Tuesday. With a high temperature expected in the low to mid 90s, our heat index value is expected to be at or near 105 degrees, and that’s in the shade, even higher in the sunlight. While most of the storm and rain activity stays to our north, we do have a slight chance of rain later today through tonight, but we’ll dry up and cool down a bit with the passage of a cold front by tomorrow morning. We’ll stay dry with less humid conditions through the rest of the work week and even cooler by the first of next week. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information & forecast details.
