(OLNEY/NEWTON) Today will be the first of several days and nights with our first real taste of hot and humid weather conditions so far in 2025 as a high pressure ridge sets up over the Midwest. Our downstate area will have plenty of sunshine today through the first half of next week, although maybe a few clouds will be mixed in at times. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory in effect for our entire listening area from Saturday all the way through next Tuesday night as heat index values are expected to be at or over 100 degrees each day.
