(OLNEY) In this week’s Richland County Farm Bureau rainfall report, with the recording period ending at 8:00 yesterday morning, it was the driest week of the spring, with the county’s highest total, for May 12th thru 19th, at three tenths (0.30) of an inch in Bonpas Township, followed by two tenths (0.20) of an inch in one of the Claremont Township sites, and then one tenth (0.10) in the other Claremont Township site and in Noble Township. All of the remaining sites in Richland County had either no rain or just a trace of precipitation over the past week, including the Farm Bureau Office in Olney and the other Townships, including Denver, Preston, German, Olney, Decker, and Madison. Here at the National Weather Service weather station at WVLN-WSEI, at the south edge of Olney, we recorded just over three tenths (0.34) of an inch of rain in the past week, at thirty-four hundredths.
