Olney Tigers:
The Olney Tigers split two games on the road at Lawrenceville on Friday night.
- Varsity: The Tigers fell to the host Indians, 51-62.
- Casey Thomann led Olney with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
- Rex Hallam and Carsyn Ameter contributed 16 points and 11 points, respectively.
- Junior Varsity: The Tigers claimed victory in the JV game, winning 53-41.
The Tigers will host Newton in LIC action this Friday night.
Newton Eagles:
The Newton Eagles faced Marshall in LIC action on Friday night, taking two of three games.
- Varsity: The Eagles were defeated by the visiting Lions, 42-51.
- Hayden Mulvey led Newton with 19 points, while Kody Bergbower added 16 points.
- Junior Varsity: Newton won the JV game, 43-33.
- Fresh/Soph: Newton won decisively, 63-16.
Newton will be back at home tomorrow night to face Oblong/Palestine-Hutsonville.
