(OLNEY) The Richland County Highway Department has now imposed a temporary 10 ton weight limit on portions of certain county-maintained highways due to the recent changes in temperature and precipitation that possibly could have weakened the rural roads. The list includes portions of the following roads : North Prairieton Road, East Seven Hills Lane, East Pleasant Ridge Lane, East Mt. Gilead Lane, East Seminary Road, East Elbow Lane, and North Wynoose Road. The list can also be viewed online, on the richlandcounty.illinois.gov website with a detailed map available. The 10 ton weight limit is in effect until further notice. Drivers should also be alert to all posted weight limit signes on township roads as well.
