(NEWTON/OLNEY) The Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois will be out this weekend selling their popular cookies at various sites. Area locations in Olney this Saturday will include Hurns Lumber & Do-It Center, at Rural King, and at the Olney VFW. Sales on Sunday in Olney will include locations at Rural King and Love’s Truck Stop. To find other area sites, go to the downstate girl scout’s website at gsofsi.org. Proceeds from the cookies sales go to fund various expenses, including programming, camp maintenance, and financial help for girls who would otherwise be unable to afford to be a girl scout.
