(NEWTON) In High School Bass Fishing from last Friday –
At the 12th Annual Rob Street Memorial Bass Fishing Tournament on Newton Lake, there were eight high school fishing teams that took part, with over 70 individual high school anglers competing, here’s the Top Ten list.
- Newton’s Kyson Bradley won the event with 3 bass weighing in at 11.30 lbs
- Newton’s Gunner James was 2nd with 3 fish at 10.81 lbs (had a Big Bass at 4.48 pounds for a 2nd place tie breaker)
- Garret Gebke of Breese Central was 3rd (3 / 10.81 lbs)
- Cade Schaumburg of Westville was 4th (3 / 10.29 lbs)
- Newton’s Alex Gier was 5th (3 / 10.17 lbs)
- Landon Titus of Neoga was 6th (3 / 9.80 lbs)
- Noah Koester of Teutopolis was 7th (3 / 9.33 lbs)
- Ethan Thoele of Teutopolis was 8th (3 / 9/31 lbs)
- Brody Thoele of Teutopolis was 9th (3 / 8.87 lbs)
- Olney’s Reid Fancher was 10th (3 / 8.76 lbs)

the Olney Tiger Bass Fishing Team is back on the waters this Sunday, it will be from 1:00 to 5:00 on Olney’s East Fork Lake.
