All three IHSA Girls Soccer State Finals were held over the weekend at North Central College in Naperville, with champions crowned in Classes 1A, 2A, and 3A.
Class 1A
Championship Match:
Columbia dominated Johnsburg, winning 8-0 to claim the state title.
Third Place Match:
Williamsville shut out Elmhurst Timothy Christian, 4-0.
Class 2A
Championship Match:
Chicago St. Ignatius College Prep (SICP) edged Peoria Notre Dame, 1-0.
Third Place Match:
Springfield High blanked LaGrange Park Nazareth Academy, 4-0.
Class 3A
Championship Match:
O’Fallon defeated Naperville North, 1-0 in double overtime, earning the 3A crown for downstate Illinois.
Third Place Match:
Barrington beat Chicago Lane Tech, 2-1.
