(OLNEY/NEWTON) The final three days of the 2023-2024 Late-Winter Deer Hunting Season are this weekend, but only in 23 counties around the state. Eight of which are in our downstate region, including Clay, Crawford, Effingham, Shelby, Coles, Marion, Hamilton, and Saline. That’s tomorrow, Saturday, & Sunday, a half hour before sunrise to a half hour after sunset each day. The state’s Archery Deer Hunting Season will end this Sunday as well.
